Upsilon Sigma Chi Chapter Committees

Communications This committee works with the website, creates the chapeter newsletter, keeps minutes of meetings, and ensures that members are up-to-date on the latest chapter news and events. To get involved with this commitee, contact either Omar Troutman or Jessica Skinner, co-chairs of the committee.

Membership The Membership committee is responsible keeping records of the chapter's membership. The committee invites new members, maintains a record of members' contact information, and collects member dues. Contact Jaimi Vogt, chairperson of the Membership committee for more information.

Social Members of the Social Commitee plan social activities for the chapter's members. To join this commitee or learn more about plans for upcoming socials, contact Chairperson Andrea Bullock.

Fundraising The Fundraising Committee works to provide the chapter with financial support. The committee is in charge of all fundraising projects, including the annual t-shirt sale. Abby Fletcher is the chairperson of this commitee and can be contacted to answer any fundraising questions.

Advocacy/Community Service This committee coordinates chapter advocacy and community service events. From organizing the signing of petitions to construction work on Habitat for Humanity home, this committee helps the chapter give back to the community. Contact Amber Sipe, chairperson, for more information about upcoming events and becoming active in this committee.

Conference The Upsilon Sigma Chi chapter of Chi Sigma Iota organizes an annual conference for South Carolina's counseling graduate students. To gain more information about the conference or to become involved with its planning, contact any of the co-chairs of the committee: Omar Troutman, Abby Fletcher, or Jessica Skinner.

Banquet/Awards This committee coordinates the end-of-the-year banquet and the distribution of member awards. Contact either co-chair, Amy Smith or Tonya Jasinski, for more information on participating with this committee.
