All homework and tests have now been graded, and final grades have been calculated. Grades will be turned in to the registrar's office to be put on the University TIPS system. You may request a breakdown of your grade from Professor Seaman. You may also pick up your final exam at any time during the next year. The class distribution of both the final exam and final grades are posted on the grades page of this web. Have a great summer! News ArchiveThe final exam has been posted to the course web. The grade distribution will be posted as soon as exams are scored. Final grades may be requested by sending email to Prof Seaman. April will hold a review session on Sunday, 6 May 2001, at 3:30 p.m. in the Educational Statistics Lab for 711 students. If anyone is wanting a refresher of basic ANOVA, she is also holding a 710 study session at 2 p.m. that same day. Please come prepared with questions about lectures, homework, and practice quizzes. The session will probably last about 2-3 hours. April will also be available by appointment for help during exam week. The first submission of all reports should be completed by the end of the day on Sunday, May 6. All revisions must be turned in before taking the final exam. For the last assignment (report #24 and #25), you may accept 5 additional points (up to a maximum of 20 points) in lieu of turning in revisions. The final exam will be administered on Wednesday, May 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the regular classroom. Revisions to reports #20 and #21 are due at the next class meeting. All additional reports and revisions are due by the end of day on Sunday, May 6. No revisions will be required for reports #24 and #25, so an additional 5 points (up to a maximum of 20 points) will be added to these to obtain the final score. April will be holding a review session on April 22, at 3 p.m., to begin studying for the final exam. Bring your questions to reports and web quizzes and tests. Reports #22 and #23 and revisions to reports #15 through #19 are due at the next class meeting on April 26. There will be no class meeting on April 12. The next class meeting will be on April 19. Reports #20 and #21 are due on April 19. Revisions to reports #15 and #16 are also due at that time. April will be available until 5p on Thursday, April 12. She will not be available during the usual 7:30p to 9p time. If you need additional assistance, contact her and she will be happy to arrange a time to meet with you. Reports #17 through #19 are due at the next class meeting on 5 April. Revisions to reports #13 and #14 are also due at that time. Reports #15 and #16 are due at the next class meeting on 29 March. Next week is Spring Break, so there will be no class. Reports #13 and #14 are due at the next class meeting on 22 March. Revisions of reports #8 through #12 are due at the next class meeting on 8 March. All homework has been graded and returned to email participants. Paper participants may pick up their assignments any time before class by seeing Janet in Wardlaw 261. April will be holding two review sessions before the midterm exam. The first session will be on Sunday, February 25, at 3 p.m. The second session will be on Thursday, March 1, at 2 p.m. She will have some overlapping material during the sessions, but she will try to focus each session primarily on what the students in attendance request. Students are welcome to attend one or both sessions. If anyone has any questions, they can call April at 429-7254. Assignment 4 is due by Tuesday, February 27. Models for these reports will be posted on Wednesday morning so that they can be used to help study for the midterm exam. The exam will administered at the next class meeting. Assignment 3 is due at the next class meeting (February 22) along with the revisions for assignment 2. Students should be able to get a good start on assignment 4, but it will not be due until March 1. This week April's hours are slightly revised. Instead of being in the lab on Wednesday evening (7p - 9p), February 14, she will be in the lab on Tuesday evening (7p - 9p), February 13. April will be holding a review session for EDRM 710 on Sunday, 11 February, around 3 p.m. EDRM 711 students are welcome to attend for a review of the normal distribution, descriptive statistics, z scores, and least squares regression. Contact April for more information and to confirm the time. Revisions for assignment 1 are due at the next class meeting (15 February). The due date for assignment 3 has been postponed to 22 February, but students are advised to start this assignment before then. Also, you can start working on amendments to assignment 2. The second assignment (reports 4 through 7) are due at the next class meeting (8 February). The second assignment is to complete reports 4 through 7. There will be two class meetings to discuss the concepts needed for this assignment, so the reports are due on 8 February. The first assignment is due at the next class meeting (1 February). Ken Gillam and April Bolin are developing online tutorials to help with SPSS procedures for this class. Be sure to take a look at this and other helpful links on the new " Web Links" page of this web. The first assignment is to complete reports 2 and 3. These will be due in two weeks at the 1 February class meeting. Professor Seaman's office hours are by appointment. You can also simply "drop in" anytime that the office door is open. (This is often the case!) The hours for the Educational Technology Center (ETC) and the statistical assistant are listed below.
